Time out – just for you.
This is a quiet, slow, contemplative practice that compliments a busy lifestyle or regular yoga practice & other sports.
Yin Yoga improves flexibility, reduces stress, improves emotional, mental health & well being.
We work deep into the fascia through a series of floor postures, which we hold for several minutes – with compassion (it’s not an endurance test!).
Yin Yoga gently challenges people & every posture will explore different aspects of that. You don’t have to be flexible to try this!
We finish with a group Sound Bath…..Relax, unwind, switch off and absorb the sound scape as it changes around you -with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, energy chimes, gong, tuning forks, voice and silence. Experience the luxurious and mystical sounds of Himalayan singing bowls. Relax and drift off, as you allow of your senses to feel & drift into a soundscape of relaxation. Together we will go on a sound journey as you venture inward.
You will hear the beautiful overtones of Tibetan Singing bowls and feel their vibrations entering your body. Some people use the experience as an inward meditation, some people go on a visual sound journey in their imaginations , some people just lie there eyes closed listening and some people fall asleep and snore … all part of the sound experience!
Take the time to stretch, lengthen & let go of anything that no longer serves you.
Spend time getting to know your body & your mind.
This is suitable for all levels, including if you’ve never tried Yoga.
Have no expectations of yourself- just stretch & breathe.
Wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, a blanket & a bottle of water.
